Park Hours

Because Cedar Rapids' Animal Control facility was also destroyed in the summer 2008 flood, staff is no longer available to lock and unlock the park gate; however, we recommend that you plan your visit for daylight hours, as there is no artificial lighting and the park is quite far from town. The park is open 365 days a year, rain or shine (or sleet or snow or whatever else Iowa may throw at us -- um, except flooding)!
