Congrats to the K9COLA Board for successfully getting a small Hotel/Motel Tax Grant to promote the park to visitors!

Ongoing need: Your help is needed! Volunteer to empty trash cans at the dog park! Contact Ken & Kelly; visit the Trash Volunteers' page to look at the schedule.

All permit holders and K9COLA members are welcome to come to our monthly meetings. We meet the first Tuesday of each month in Room A at the Cedar Rapids Public Library. Meetings begin at 5:45.

Welcome to K9COLA's Web site! We are the User's Group for the Cheyenne Park Off-Leash Area, a Cedar Rapids city park where dogs with permits are allowed to run and play without being leashed. Please explore our pages to learn more about the dog park, an 18-acre playground where people can enjoy their canine companions, and about K9COLA, and all the great reasons to get involved!

K9COLA and the Cheyenne Park OLA are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa -- but you don't have to be from Cedar Rapids to enjoy our great dog park. It's open 365 days a year, and you can get an annual permit, good for unlimited visits, for less than the price of a night at the movies, or, if you're just visiting, a daily pass that will give you and your pooch a chance for a little fun and socializing while you're in the area.
